Portuguese Timor
The green and red flag of Portugal has been in use since a revolution overthrew the monarchy on 5 October 1910 and Portugal became a republic. The coat of arms consists of an armillary sphere charged with the traditional Portuguese shield. This flag was the only one used in Portugal's "Overseas Provinces", including Portuguese Timor.
